The Sivananda Yoga Class is a classical sequence of yoga postures (asanas), breathing exercises (pranayama) and deep relaxation.

Clothing should be comfortable, preferably loose cotton, with layers
Please arrive on time, the class will be ‘closed’ ten minutes after the start time
Please do not eat at least two hours before class
We practise yoga in bare feet or socks
Please let the teacher know of any medical or physical problems. We do not advise you to do the yoga class/courses if you are pregnant. If in doubt about your ability to practise yoga, please check with your doctor
